Place targets:
Offer and provide animal and family services to existing and potential customers in Hampton Roads, Virginia and North Carolina
Primarily responsibility and duties:
• Complete daily community-seeking advertising, offering and delivery of Peta’s animal and family services in Virginia and North Carolina, including Spay/Castration Surgery and Related Transport, Rabies Vaccinations and Other Veterinary and Wellness Services
• Contact potential and existing clients from Petas Community Animal Project (CAP) to offer animal and family services in Virginia and North Carolina
• Handle inbound calls from existing and potential customers requesting services, prepare and update case sheets for delivery of these services and maintain items with delivered services including photography conditions when appropriate
• Living accompanying animal care and family services including pickup and help with wounded or unwanted animals
• File complaints to animal checks in situations that require legal intervention and follow -up to ensure action is taken
• conduct studies involving neglected or abused animals
• Complete emergency procedures for first aid and euthanasia
• Take care of animals in Peta’s custody
• Join the rotation of CAP’s 24-hour pager who provides relief to clients and the public across CAP’s service area
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to describe and give customers
• Demonstrated experience with sales, customer service, public outreach or similar experience
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum two years of experience of animal management
• Proven effective problems with problem solving and crisis management
• Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and estimate
• Proven ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional way
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks at once and deal with frequent interruptions
• Demonstrated ability to manage time with care and prioritize tasks

• Will and ability to be on 24-hour emergency calls
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 kg. without help regularly
• Ability to engage in frequent bending, bending, searching, lifting, range and stair climbing
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid US driver’s license, at least three years of driving experience and a satisfactory driving record
• Obligation to organization’s target
